Potential Google Search Algorithm Update On September 17th
As previously covered on different media, it seems Google might be rolling out, or about to launch, a new Core Update. Tools like SEMrush Sensor and Mozcast are showing a high level of fluctuation on search results.
There is still a limited chatter about this on SEO communities like Black Hat World, however, since many tools are showing spikes the chances for a change affecting search results is likely. If you are experiencing changes on rankings and traffic right now, you should probably wait before taking any actions, as often those changes are re-updated and many positions revert back to where they initially were.
Google has not yet confirmed any updates, but they do not always make statements about all the changes they push, so it is possibly the case of a set of changes they do not consider a core update. Are you seeing big fluctuations on traffic and rankings this month? If the answer is yes, send us a message with your specific case and we’ll try to take a look into it.
